Absolutely worthless. Save your time and money and buy something else. There are plenty of good math books out there......

So-So
I don't know if I'd go as far as the reviewer below but I have to agree that it's not the best. I got it to help my 15 year old son in Algebra. It isn't interactive. But... he is sitting at the PC using it now. I said, "Hey! Is that software any good." He said, "Yeah." For a 15 year old boy, that a relatively good review. He has also used the software "High School Success 2007 (which includes Math Success 2007) and he REALLY doesn't like it. Also... he and his sister have "Algebra Solved" and it has proven to be of no use to them because they can't figure out how to work it. So far, MATH LEARNING SYSTEM 2007 is about as good as I've found. But oh, would I like to find something better.

Wretched software
I purchased this software to brush up on my algebra skills before taking a calculus class. Titles were limited since I use a Mac, so this was just about my only choice. What a complete waste of money. The interface is terrible and the level of instruction isn't much better. The "tutor" for the more advanced levels has such heavy accent that I relied on the captions for instruction. I found several math errors in the program - not good! The sound doesn't work for some sections, and no, it wasn't my computer. I couldn't be more disappointed. I purchased several books from the McGraw Hill Demystified series, which while not as "high-tech", are vastly superior. I would guess that any of the written Algebra study guides would be better than this software, and be much cheaper!

SUPER easy to use and effective
My daughter (12) is homeschooled, and since I don't speak Italian I was concerned about using a computer-based training program. I shouldn't have worried. She set the whole thing up all by herself, without any help from me, and simply took off. She loves it, and has done the entire Italian 1 course in three months. If your family is set on Italian as the language, I might pop for the extra bucks for the Level 1, 2, 3 - I'm off to buy it now.

good game
My husband is disabled and plays alot of games. He just blows most of them away really fast, but this one is more challenging, because of the different difficulty levels. I'm not very good at games but Im doing really well. It keeps your interest and is fun. My only drawback is the monkeys voice gets alittle obnoxious to me so I just turn the volume down.

I have only played this on the game links on the PC because when I recieved my copy of this game my laptop won't let me install it because my antivirus program tells me it won't allow me to download it to my PC because it detects a trojan virus. So I am not sure if it is just my antivirus not letting me do it or if it actually has a virus. I don't want to take any chances at putting it on someone elses PC in case it does and it puts one on theirs. Since you aren't able to return open games to stores I figured I am just stuck with it like always. But as far as the game itself that is why I got it because it was so much fun to play.

Did not work with Vista
Bought this for mom. Company was nice to deal with and sent her new CD/DVD. That didn't work sent her another and tech support attempted to help her again, but admitted there was a problem installing. Refunded full price+shipping & she now has 3 copies of game. She said company was nice to deal with and is waiting for them to fix the problem with instalation.

In general, loads of fun if you're a puzzler. Suitable for hearing impaired.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this game; who would've thought they could make so many variations of the games using the same framework??!! Only 2 of the separate games, contained within "temples," are at all similar, in my opinion. My sole complaint is that it's so very difficult to skip a puzzle; I'm stuck on a logic puzzle I can't escape, but, luckily, I can go to the other temples instead.

I'd have to classify this game as a M3 (match 3), but it's really more fun than that. Except for the logic puzzles, they're hard enough to give me a run without being frustrating.

The game is suitable for the hearing impaired; in fact, I found it necessary to mute it because I found it too jarring when the game didn't approve of a move I made and shouted at me. It would probably work for a sizable degree of vision loss as well because the pieces are relatively large. The smallest bits are little locks, etc. used in higher levels, which could be a problem.

Not really what I wanted.
I was imagining a software that would have a veritable dictionary of phrases, with some kind of orderly lesson plan for how to proceed from one set of vocabulary to the next, a progression that lets you learn Armenian.

The product description states: "Extensive basic vocabulary, from first words, food, colors, phrases, parts of the body and numbers, to telling time, shopping and countries." The "from ... to ..." suggests that there are other categories as well. This is not so. The vocabulary mentioned: first words, food, colors, phrases, body parts, numbers, time, shopping,countries, include essentially ALL the vocabulary available in this product.

The mini games and speakers (they have both a man and woman native speaker giving words) do a reasonable job. The games especially help you learn the vocabulary. There are several things about this software, however, that made it essentially useless for me.

1) Western/Eastern Armenian.
I bought the software because my fiance is Armenian and I wanted to be able to converse with her family, who speaks in the Western Armenian dialect. This software seems to be an inconsistent mix of Western and/or Eastern without distinguishing between the two. (For example, the word "five" -- "hing" as is taught in the software, is actually pronounced "hink" in Western Armenian.) My fiance also found a considerable number of mis-pronunciations and mis-spellings, even beyond the Eastern/Western mixing.

2) I wanted to learn to speak Armenian in a more day-to-day setting. This software is clearly heavily geared towards travel, however. Out of the "basic phrases," things you should think would be very commonly used phrases, there were phrases like "where is my passport?" "where are my suitcases?" etc.

3) There is absolutely no explanation of sentence structure / verb tenses /etc. I realize this is beginner's software, and grammar can get complicated, but just picking up an Armenian dictionary (in paper form, not computer software), the very first sections explained that, for example, adjectives preceed verbs (unlike English) (example: a literal translation from Armenian would have you say "American I am" instead of "I am American." Knowing grammar structure like this right off the bat helps a LOT in learning the language, because it makes it possible to learn the patterns of speech more easily.

The concept, having native speakers quiz you with mini-games, etc. would work well. But in this case, the Western/Eastern inconsistencies, and lack of relevant vocabulary (unless you're learning in order to travel)
made this software mostly worthless to me.

Timeless fun
Forget that it's a bit old. The characters are so much fun and the story is so compelling that you will still love this game, even though it won't look very modern. Still , this 2D animation looks better to me thanmost of the so called realistic 3D stuff you see nowadays.

But: I _am_ curious what a modern day sequel would look like.
I would love to see this main character again!

Mythology makes this a lot more fun that regular old Age of Empires games.
This review is on the Mac version. I'm playing it on my Macbook Pro, 2.26 GHz, with 2 GB of RAM. No mods. It runs great. No problems. The reviewers that were having problems just did not seem to have enough hardware power to get the job done. Macs are not known as being the ideal game machines to begin with, so I'm not surprised that the game had to get a few years under its belt before it was playable on Mac. (hardware had to catch up with the software)

I'm well into the campaign mode by now. I've not tried online play yet, but I want to try not to get roped into it too much. One round takes me about 3-4 hours, and that is plenty.

I've played Age of Empires games for a while now, ever since the original. I played Command & Conquer before that. This is a lot more fun. The myth units and heroes really make this a lot more fun. Seeing a cyclops pick up a soldier and throw him end over end is really cool. Ditto with sending a Scylla out to smash up the enemy ships, which grows more heads and gets a stronger attack as it takes more damage.

One thing that is a little disappointing so far is that there doesn't seem to be any way to really use the terrain to hide, like in the Game Boy DS version. It was fun to sneak through the trees and such, then really catch one's opponent unawares.

Mac is not a gaming computer
I love the game. My brother had it for the PC and we played it all the time. So much fun! Even better if you have the Titan expansion (only PC I believe).

So much Fun I thought I should get it for my MacBook while I was away at school. The first day I had it it crashed on me time after time within 20 minutes of start up. Since then I have figured out how to play the game without it crashing much. I play simple games like 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 2 instead of the 8-10 player games that I would play on the early XP based PC.

My advise is to get the game for your PC if you have both available. If Mac is all you have, it is still a solid game. I play it on a regular basis on the Mac because I despise Windows. At the end of the day, however, Windows will play a computer game much better, the rest however, is dominated by the Mac.

Age of Greatness!
Age of Mythology is the first Age of Empires game I have played. I have really enjoyed the game. it is not difficult at all and time flies while you are playing the game.

alot of 1 player missions and story to do..... and then it gets better once you can play against someone else to find out how good you are.

A Good Fun Game
This is a pretty decent game set. Comes with three games: Collapse, Glinx & Nisqually. This game set is hard to find so you'll have to look around if you cannot find it here at amazon. Since I never looked anywhere else I don't know where else to look.

super addictive
Simplicity and grace. A little like Tetris in appearance, similar objective (remove rising lines of blocks), but no twisting of pieces - just rapid fire mouse clicking. Some pieces cannot be removed without the help of the occasional bomb that shows up.Lots of options and different variations of game play are available. The maker will let you download a demo to try out. Try it once and you'll have to play again and again - and finally you'll have to just buy it so you can play it every day. Great sound effects with stereo sound compliment game play - options let you modify music and sound effect volumes independently.
